If you are looking at this laptop, you're most likely sorting out a similar kind of laptop I was: a powerful, attractive, quality laptop that does not break the bank. i'm happy to mention the Asus A53sv-xe1 meets these expectations nicely.

Design is prime notch. The A53 is enticing while not wanting garish. The black lid encompasses a faint, attractive interlocking cell kind of pattern on it. If that is not your thing the look is faint enough that it most likely will not trouble you too much. The lid feels nice and sturdy, pushing on it doesn't seem to have an effect on the screen. The chiclet keyboard feels comfy, typing is a breeze. The keys push down with a satisfying feel. Controls in games feel swish. The touchpad seems decent and i don't mind using it however I prefer a true mouse. the entire keyboard space is made with aluminum, much like the Macbook pro and looks/feels very nice. Nice quality. The A53 also feels pretty light, and it's a breeze to carry it around.
